My Cat Hector

  • Hector was diagnosed with Subcutaneous Hemangiosarcoma on August 25, 2002. Though he fought for almost a year, he did not survive.
  • In trying to research this kind of cancer in cats, I found very little information, unlike the thousands of pages and sites with details on dog and other types of cat cancer.
  • This site was created as a resource for anyone else who's cat may have Subcutaneous Hemangiosarcoma, and for anyone considering Cansema.

Hector and I would like to give a sincere thank you to everyone who helped us through this difficult time.

View results table for dozens of cats and their stories. If your cat has Hemangiosarcoma or used Cansema, I hope you'll share with us too.

Note before you try Cansema: try to find a vet that will help. Be aware of bleeding, especially with this kind of cancer, can be dangerous - even deadly. It can be extremely painful as well.
